Allpress Olive Groves is transforming one of Waiheke Island's earliest olive groves into a premium hospitality, production and events destination — bringing together a restaurant, commercial bakery, olive mill, bottling facility, retail space, offices and a function venue around the existing grove. Integrated Electrical was engaged to deliver the complete electrical package for the site.
We'd worked alongside the client for more than four years before being invited onto the project, which meant we were involved well before construction began — contributing to electrical design, infrastructure planning and service coordination from the earliest concept stages. Working from evolving resource consent drawings rather than a finished design, we developed the electrical scope alongside the client, architects, engineers and builder as the project took shape, guided by four principles: technical performance, long-term serviceability, architectural integration and operational simplicity.
What began as a minor electrical package grew into a highly serviced commercial facility: a new 400A three-phase supply and onsite transformer, several thousand metres of structured cabling supporting a segmented network of over 100 fixed devices, more than 150 metres of concealed architectural LED lighting, commercial audio, building automation and security. Everything was engineered not just for opening day but for the future growth of the business — and delivered to practical completion on programme ahead of a busy summer opening.
